WorkingHoursTracker is a local-first application. All data you generate within the App, including:

• Work start and end times
• Cost center names and configurations
• Email settings and preferences
• Notification preferences

is stored locally on your device using a secure local database (SQLite). This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties unless you explicitly choose to share it (see Section 3).

2. Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions to function correctly:

• Notifications: We use local notifications to remind you if a work timer has been running for an extended period (e.g., more than 5 hours). These notifications are generated locally on your device; no data is sent to a server to trigger them.
• Background Processing: We use background tasks to periodically check the duration of your current work timer to trigger the reminders mentioned above. This processing happens entirely on your device.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties.

Email Functionality:
The App includes a feature to "Compose Email" to send your work reports. When you use this feature:

1. The App generates a text report based on your selected data.
2. The App passes this text to your device's default email client (e.g., Gmail, Outlook).
3. You have full control to review, edit, or cancel the email before sending it.
4. The email is sent from your own email account. We do not have access to your email credentials, and the email does not pass through our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Firebase) or advertising networks. We do not track your usage of the App.

5. Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, its security relies on the security of your device itself. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a secure lock screen to protect your data.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. As the App operates offline and does not collect data, it is safe for all ages, though it is intended for general productivity use.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
